Colorado is rife with resorts accommodating both locals and tourists who love skiing. While the state has many resort accommodations for avid skiing fans, one place of note is Colorado's Copper Mountain ski resort. The resort is ran by Intrawest, a company who owns numerous ski resorts in the U.S. and Canada. The Copper Mountain ski resort is composed of several smaller hotels, deemed neighborhoods, along with bars, shopping and other entertainment options.

The resort accommodations are plentiful at Copper Mountain ski resort. No matter what neighborhood a visitor is staying in, they can take advantage of ski and bicycle rentals, tennis courts and babysitting when the adults need time to themselves. Those on business trips can use business and conference facilities to get work done, and an athletic club offers fitness room, sauna and steam room accommodations.

Copper Mountain ski resort is known for its skiing accommodations, but instead of taking time off in warmer months, the Colorado resort turns to other forms of entertainment to draw in tourists. Concerts such as Copper Country, featuring a lineup of all-star country and classic rock musicians, also beckon prospective Colorado visitors. The package including two tickets to see the bands and two nights at the Copper Mountain ski resort starts at $63 per person, per night.

Sixty-three dollars is sales tax compared to the prices for resort reservations at the neighborhoods in this Colorado resort. The Village Square neighborhood allows guests easy access to the three-star resort accommodations. The convention center, ski lifts and bus, and perhaps most importantly the Copper Mountain slopes themselves are all in walking distance. A hotel room ranges in cost from $112 to $153 per night; if the guest requests a shower-bath combination, wireless internet access or linen with their air mattress, additional fees will be added to the base price of $112. If a customer would like to make more luxurious resort reservations, a one bedroom suite costs $139 to $201, and a suite with two bedrooms bring the bill anywhere from $169 to $287 for a night.

Other resort accommodations at the Colorado resort, such as the 54 Peaks and Passage Point neighborhoods, offer four-star luxury as opposed to the three-star features of the Village Square. A safety deposit box and ski valets are a couple examples of resort accommodations at the 54 Peaks that Village Square does not offer. Reservations for a hotel room at the 54 Peaks neighborhood cost $121 to $162. Studio rooms range from $139 to $211 per night, while one bedroom and two bedroom suites are more costly than the same accommodations in Copper Mountain's three-star neighborhood. These accommodations cost $148-209 and $195-386, respectively.

Whether a guest is in town for business, pleasure or a little of both, Colorado's Copper Mountain ski resort aims to satisfy everyone with their varied resort accommodations. The Copper Mountain ski resort also has a variety of neighborhoods with prices to accommodate any travel budget.
